Lexa Black@EricaFriedman Can't speak to Bluesky firsthand yet, as still on the wait list. Which has been the case since the takeover.
That said, the decline of Twitter is going far faster by the day than the ability for people to jump ship for Bluesky.
The gated nature of the beta also limits readability for anyone not there, unless cross posted or quoted elsewhere. Which renders it I think somewhat pointless, at least short term.
@TheLexaBlack Oh, agree. The beta does also allow for tweaking scalability. Today it's struggling with new folks joining - they released invites today, to encourage folks.
@EricaFriedman True. And that's not surprising.
Before you mentioned it, I expected even if it were to open fully they'd have been struggling. But if even if a trickle of more users is causing problems, they have much more work ahead to be ready.
