There's a strong case to be made that SCOTUS shouldn't have even taken up the student loan and cake lady cases for lack of standing — that is, there were no plaintiffs who could plausibly argue that they'd been affected by the policies they were seeking to overturn. But these bastards are completely unaccountable, and so there you have it.
