I wrote a short goodbye post on Reddit as we enter the last hours of Apollo. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the support over the years, it’s truly been the journey and dream of a lifetime building this app and meeting so many people. 🥰💙 https://reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/14nb5qs/today_is_apollo_for_reddits_last_day_and_i_just/
Today is Apollo for Reddit's last day, and I just released its last update. 🥹 I just wanted to say a big thank you to the folks who have used and supported Apollo over the years, it's been the dream of a lifetime to build this app over the last 9 years. ❤️ Read the eulogy inside! ❤️

Hey all, With that, Apollo's last update has landed! It includes: - Some fun easter eggs! - Tidies some things up for the closure later...

@christianselig thanks for the excellent app and for all your work. While it sucks that Apollo had to die, the Reddit API shitstorm made me reevaluate my time on that website and acted as a catalyst to finally delete my account after 15 years, and stop mindlessly scrolling for hours every day. There’s a world of untapped potential out there, I hope you find even more success with the next app that you work on. Good luck man.
