I was just about to post this photo because it's Friday and it's got a window, the Alt Text was written and everything, then I realised that the window's probably not a window, it's probably a door, and we don't do fake news in the fediverse, so I've updated the Alt Text and removed the hashtags WindowFriday and FensterFreitag and now I am going to feel so self-righteous all day.

@CiaraNi It’s as true as I know without looking stuff up to double-check. :) My family used to own a windmill about 80? years ago and I visited it when it was restored, so that’s where I learned that.

@sierrakim Apologies, I didn't mean to question it because I doubted you! I was just such a sweet reason that I was afraid to have the image it gave me snatched away - I saw a farmer living inside the little space, rushing from one window to another all day long in case a cloud sneaked up on him from the other side.
