Get out and vote, people. We will continue to see these small-minded, homophobic decisions unless we clean house. It will take a generation at least. I hope voters have the stamina and patience.

Then people can force cases like these back up where they can be overturned. These yahoos have established there is no such thing as precedent, anyway.

@TonyStark

We can't afford to wait and have to normalize pushing for SCOTUS expansion. Vote yes, but also focus political capital on that cause because it is massively important we end the reign of these six fascist lunatics as soon as possible.

@chairgirlhands Are you willing to guarantee me a 2024 Biden win and Democrats forever after that? I’m not so sure I’m as for that as an option as I was even a couple of weeks ago. And a Democratic Senate? Not so sure.
@TonyStark you’re right, 2024 cannot be guaranteed which is why expansion needs to happen NOW.

@chairgirlhands What happens if we expand now and Republicans win next year? We can’t even guarantee Republicans in the Senate now won’t block every Biden nominee. We don’t have the numbers in the Senate. We just don’t. Manchin won’t expand the court.

These fixes all sound great but unfortunately we screwed ourselves. Not just with Trump. W appointed Alito and Roberts, HW appointed Thomas.

Prevention would have been easier and smarter. No quick fixes now. Wish I were wrong.

@TonyStark you’re wrong. We’re at 51-49 now so we can tell manchin to go fuck himself and let Kamala break the tie.
@chairgirlhands You can’t just delete Manchin as much as you may hate him. I do, too. There are not 50 Dems. There are 48.
