Was just fantasizing about how if I had a TARDIS I could just materialize outside the hotel without all the annoying travel hassle before checking in.

Then I realized if I had a TARDIS I wouldn’t need a hotel room either XD

@cooner Instant travel to anywhere is my number one scifi trope I want to be real.
@cooner in a world where we all had them, one might still have to pay for TARDIS parking
@cooner There's also Calvin's take. "When I grow up I want to become a scientist and invent a time machine. Then I'll go back to yesterday, take myself to tomorrow, and skip this dumb assignment."
@LadonDWolf Sadly I know I’ll never have a TARDIS because I’d already decided if i ever did that i’d take it back in time to myself when I was younger, and that didn’t happen. Oh well!
@cooner I always figured that, if I had a TARDIS with a working chameleon circuit, I'd have it assume the shape of a doorway and always materialize up against a wall in a convenient location...
@tzoq “Working” chameleon circuit being the key there. ;)

@cooner Well, yes.

It doesn't have to be *completely* functional. Just able to select between styles of door.
