I kind of see where your father got it from. Honor among thieves, that kind of thing--that doesn't make it any less stupid tho. Besides, kahit na makumbinsi mo yung holdaper mo na pareho lang kayo ng "line of work", di yun garantiya na di ka nya papatuisin.

But speaking from personal experience, kung kung nakatira ka sa lugar na maraming snatchers, for example, malamang markado ka na as a local, and they generally leave you alone. Tipong "Oi! Yang si Megane, taga looban yan, mabait nanay nyan! Wag nyong papatusin yan ah!" Lol!

Ano na nangyari kay Jerboa, keeps crashing on mine 😔 minsan ko na nga lang feel magreply ayaw pa

Pero grabe talaga sabi ko di ako sasama ng team building. Ang nangyari: tumulong pa ako magluto. Sabi ko din hindi ako iinom pero mukhang magddonate pa ako ng isang bote ng tequila just because.

I do find it helpful to join these kinds of events, it's a chance to try to get along with people. May pa-games dyan and I need to win something for the cash prize 😤😤😤

Jerboa has problems running lemmy.world since they have yet to upgrade to the new Lemmy version. I recommend using a different app for now, like Liftoff.

Help ya girl out pls! What happens if you send an ultra long text to an Android phone? On iPhone, it gets converted to an MMS I think? Basically the first few lines are displayed then ends with “…” then you have to click on the text so it would lead to the whole message in like another page. Is that what happens to Android phones too? As far as I know hindi rin ganun kabago phone niya. Pls help kailangan ko ng closure with the knowledge na nabasa ‘yun lahat haha

as far as I know, normal na text padin, like cut-off ng 160 characters so kapag may sobra sent as another text iyun.

Kung RCS naman, I think normal na text lang din

Di ko talaga gets ito. Maraming instances naman na pwede nilang salihan, kung talagang ayaw nila ng Lemmy, pwede naman silang mag-Kbin.

Gusto ko sana sa wt.social kasi founder ng wikipedia yung gumawa kaso wala talaga guys. Mukhang panalo reddit. Watak watak mga alternatives

Given the activity levels nung communities sa alternatives, parang di naman ata nag-watak-watak? I dunno about Tiles kung merong mga napadpad dun. But it seems to me that a lot of those who left Reddit congregated here. Sure, network effects sucks, but without people actually going away from Reddit, populating their preferred alternative, failing that, moving to their second-most preferred alternative, etc, and so on until their "at least it's not Reddit" platform of choice, eh tama nga siguro siya--panalo talaga ang Reddit.

Ang sarap talagang mag-virtual byahe via Google street view no? I can't imagine the amount of time I've wasted just going around, and around and around.

Also, discovering places "relatively nearby" me that I haven't even imagined. Or answering some questions that I've left rotting in the backrooms of my brain, like‌ "how does the Metro Manila-Rizal-Bulacan tripoint look like? Found a picture of it just now, it's a fairly innocent-looking point in a stream. No markers nor anything. Well, mejo remote area rin naman kasi siya.

But yeah! Even just idly exploring, with no aim in particular, is soothing.
