For the people out there that use #instructure #canvas

How the fuck do you put Google Meet links in the calendar on Canvas? We are switching from zoom. Zoom meetings, when you make them in Canvas, show up in the canvas calendar….

Google meet though…..how?

@ericdano As far as I could tell, Canvas is allergic to Google. I did my whole class in Google last semester because I thought that's what they were using, and I was wrong and it was a PITA. Sorry this is just commiseration and not helpful advice. But I will try and take a look at it later to see if I can figure it out. I am helping a faculty member work on some accessibility issues in Canvas later today.

I forgot to mention... but you probably already know this... you can put the URL to Meet in the location, but it won't appear as a hyperlink. Folks would have to copy and paste it into a browser. So, minimally helpful. Hope you figured something better out!
