The fire department allows the building to burn out in a controlled manner. We are shocked If there are any questions, do not hesitate to ask the board of Pixelbar
@pixelbar there is not really anything left.
Pixelbar was behind this wall.
I went to the space as soon as the fire was considered to be under control by the firefighters.

The #Keilewerf, that awesome community where we as @pixelbar were allowed to be a part of is gone.
It was a group of enthusiasts, small crafting companies of 1-5 people. There was a used wood store - #Buurman.
You rented an unit within this former hardware store and basically worked crafted, hacked and build in those self build places.
@pixelbar the view from above shows it more. Pixelbar is somewhere on the left wall... nothing is left there.

We're running a donation page with direct donation possibilities as much as a gofundme.
We want to build the hackerspace up again.
Our space has burned down but not our #community of the #hackerspace #pixelbar
There is a lot we cannot replace but there is also a lot that we can replace.
First we'd have to find and build a new space in there. For that we will need quite some moneyunfortunately.
We don't even really know how much we'll need.

We will also need a lot of non-financial help where hopefully other hackerspaces can help.
When you move into a new space you bring all of those crates and things into your new space.
We can't do that .... unfortunately.
Because of a fire.
So when we open up @pixelbar we'll throw an opening event and maybe we can get other hackerspaces to come and bring stuff what's actually hard to buy and a #hackerspace is full of.
Those of you from a hackerspace know what i talk about.
