@arstechnica Bayer (current owner of Round Up) settled with ten billion in a special account for people given cancer by Round Up herbicides. But that herbicides is still widely sold. Even though they implicitly acknowledge it gives you cancer (the evidence was overwhelming). The stuff also can cause neurological damage in children and can kill all the plantlife in creeks from run off and so on.
@JohnShirley2023 @arstechnica John we can’t have greedy global bullies *not* making profits at the expense of our health. That would just be silly.
