Both of those sites are attracting lots of LLM content, which means reddit and SO content will become just as junky as search results. Bizarrely, SO and reddit want more such content. I don't know if it's because they can't prevent it even if they wanted to or if they're just stuck in short-term thinking: more content=more views=more revenue.
