@PetitPas @actuallyautistic I discovered I’m Autistic at 52. Going on about a year of trying to figure out what parts of me are masked. I’m a writer since a very young age, so I’m also trying to distill what about my own understanding of myself exists more as a function of how I’ve used writing styles/syntax/content as its own mask. I wasn’t honest even about my own levels of discomfort in my own personal writing, bc I was trying to make my writing appear “normal.”
