I recently finished the Forgotten City and I’m currently in the midst of Ai: the Somnium Files. I really love this style of game: winding plotlines, clues to be found, interesting characters and motivations. Paradise killer, Curse of the Golden idol and Return of the Obra Dinn are games that blew my mind. Any favorites you have in these genres? I’m happy to pay for them, if they’re on PS Plus that’s even better!

It's excellent! I didn't play the final cut yet. First played it on PC and will probably come back to it on PS. I'm hoping to wait a little longer to forget parts of the story before I dive back in and disappoint Kim kitsuragi again.

If you like the format of visual novel with this crime, puzzle kind of theme, I recommend checking out

  • Zero Escape series, on PS there is Zero Time Dilemma and The Nonary Games
  • Danganronpa series, IMO they are more story orientated but still lots of puzzles
  • Ace Attorney series, the most classic kind of deduction visual novels

At least one Danganronpa is on my wishlist. Do you have a favorite in the series?

Haven't gotten into Ace attorney. It's definitely up my alley.
