@lexd0g Q: Does it work with the #VitaTV / #PlaystationTV as well?

Cuz then @fuchsiii would've a reason to do so...

@kkarhan @fuchsiii absolutely, its the same hardware
@kkarhan @fuchsiii the vita tv is super cool because it can run PSP and PS1 games natively without emulation while having an HDMI output
@lexd0g @kkarhan @fuchsiii there is the raspberry pi vita dock software too though!
@theking @kkarhan @fuchsiii yeah thats super cool but thats not really a direct video output, its being encoded and decoded which adds compression and latency
@lexd0g @theking @fuchsiii propably using that HDMI2CSI board, isn't it?

@kkarhan it encodes the vita's video stream and sends it over the UVC protocol, then decodes it on the raspberry pi, it literally just shows up as a USB camera with the ucdc-uvc plugin
@lexd0g yeah, so basically the same as any HDMI Capture Dongle like the CamLink does...
@kkarhan ah thats what you meant, i suppose, but the vita is being its own capture card here basically
@lexd0g yeah, I'd say using a #VitaTV + #PS3 Controller would be more reasonable instead, espechally since the #VitaTV spits out video upscaled to 720p60 & 1080p60 so it's easier to handle with cheapo consumer hardware...
