@MlleaPankhurst @yaneerbaryam @whn Because therapists are just as susceptible to peer pressure and cognitive biases as anyone else, just as bad at understanding risk, just as bad at present vs. future value calculations.

My peer pressure is that I have 3 kids on my caseload that are medically fragile, and I don't want to be responsible for putting them into the hospital or dying.

Which goes to show how woeful their training really is since the whole premise of science based training should be to reduce the occurrence of this.
