nothackingPhysical media generally has less aggressive DRM. Buy a DVD and the movies your’s for life, you can even rip it and put it on a media server to make your own little streaming site.
“Buy” a movie/audiobook on Amazon and it’s yours as long as the company wants you to keep it.
