My fav take on the Orcas Attacking Boats thing is that this is just… like, what they’re into this year.
Orcas have fads and trends.
A few years ago, for a season, they liked to wear a dead salmon on their head. For fun.

Orca memes are on another level.

@DarkMatterZine @moncur_d They know this. An older orca in the pod got hit by a boat and attacked the propeller. Then the others basically went, “oh is this what we’re doing? okay, fun!”
