One of the coolest tricks Readwise Reader has is that if you save a YouTube video, it imports the subtitles (including automatically generated ones, so every video should have them).

It even highlights and scrolls the text as you watch, and you can highlight bits just like anything else you save to Readwise.

@matt I got a Readwise subscription this year. I like it a lot but wish there was a lifetime plan vs just a yearly. Hate thinking what this will cost over 10-15 years. This is the challenge with SaaS subscriptions.
