Tokyo Yamanote Line train evacuated over passenger with knife

Passengers evacuated a train in central Tokyo on Sunday after a man was spotted carrying a knife. Three people were injured in the rush to get off the train.

@fishidwardrobe Getting a bag. Like, there were none at his job he could have borrowed? There were no conbini around where he could have bought a cheap one? Wrap it up in a towel and put it in a bag. It’s safer that way, not just to avoid panic too to avoid risking accidental cuts. At the very last, actually tape the towel around it.
