Reddit would become compatible with Lemmy essentially making it it’s own “instance”, and suddenly 3rd party apps work with Reddit again. Full circle.

I think we'll all be better off if we can keep Reddit and Meta^✱^, and Corporate Information out of the garden.

Fediverse can only win by keeping its ground, by speaking about freedom, morals, ethics, values

There are only a small core of people (ok, a lot of people, but a very small percentage of social media users) who value those things enough to push back effectively against a glitzy, well-funded corporate implementation.
