Just Finished Cyberpunk on the Deck - Lemmy.world

The Steam Deck ran it surprisingly well, to be honest. I used the settings off this page [https://steamdecklife.com/2022/11/10/cyberpunk-2077-steam-deck-best-settings/] and it ran at a pretty solid ~40 FPS. Not my favorite game, but it was pretty and fun to jump around hacking people as I hacked at people (with a katana). Story was ok, and the ending was just a bit meh for me, but worth it in my eyes. Next I’m on to playing Outer Wilds docked to the TV with my partner. I’m a few cycles into it and am hooked. The Steam Deck was an excellent buy!

I played Cyberpunk last December and didn't expect to play most of it on my Deck rather than my PC, but I did! Gyro aiming and the surprisingly good performance on the Deck both contributed to that. I'm a bit worried about how the DLC will run on the Deck, though…

Yeah, I am wondering about that as well. It sadly sounds like it might be a bit much for the deck, but we'll see!

Yeah, definitely not buying the DLC until it's on sale and thoroughly tested on Steam Deck.
