Tyria Pride is happening again this June! It's a yearly event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Guild Wars 2:

This will be my sixth year attending, and it's always a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of fun!

Ark is ready for Tyria Pride!

#GuildWars2 #TyriaPride

Had a great time at #TyriaPride today. I focused less on taking screenshots this time, just enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and listened to the voice chat. Maybe I'll try taking a few more pictures tomorrow!

We even had two ArenaNet employees marching with us pretty much the entire way, and almost no trolls. Those two things may be related though.

Instead of the usual screenshots, here's a little recording from one of the breaks during the second day of Tyria Pride. It shows the wonderful chaos that I love so much about the event: people in beautiful outfits hanging out and having fun, while discussing linguistics in voice chat.

I had to compress this quite a bit to fit within the upload limit, higher quality version here:

@kianga I feel like the overfull map instances deprive us both of positive and negative interactions.
@ralesk Yeah, me too. I always enjoy the (positive) interactions with people who are just going about their MMO days and suddenly see us and are like, what's this? I saw a few sweet comments yesterday. I wish we'd have those more often, but it's difficult to organize (and as Lelling said yesterday, people WANT to stay in a big group because it's fun and feels safe).
@kianga I guess like a ~40 people group is big enough too and doesn't fill the map but that'd be really hard to organise with the crappy in-game tools
