With all the recent movement and changes in the #nba, my favorite plotline has absolutely been the Golden State Warriors. Not only do we get the pure comedy gold of Warriors fans frantically scrubbing a decade of Chris Paul slander from their timelines, what could be more wholesome than the idea of two old foes like CP3 and Draymond out there together, two happy pals just punching guys in the nuts left and right? It warms the cockles, so to speak. No sack will be safe when that team is in town.
There's a great splash brothers joke hiding right under my nose here, I can feel it but can't quite put my hand on it yet
@mrcompletely The last sentence of this is the funniest thing I've seen so far on Mastodon
@drewphish they'll be working em like a speed bag
@mrcompletely harkens back to when the Bulls got Rodman, who shoved Pippen into the stands once from behind
@noirlover exactly lmao. I was a huge huge Bulls/Jordan guy and struggled with that one for a minute
@mrcompletely This is of course assuming Punchy McStompy does in fact re-up with GSW nad doesn't flounce out in a huff about how much he gets paid.
@piglet def true. I've been under that assumption since they moved Poole but it's far from a sure thing.
@mrcompletely I can't really see Draymond leaving GSW, i think he's just trying out the new GM's metal.
@mrcompletely also both are Hall of Fame complainers and Paul is a legendary flopper
@mrcompletely they just need to add Dillon Brooks to become completely unwatchable
@tigerdactyl well, he couldn't be more available
@mrcompletely Golden State fans are so testy.
@matthewrigdon I'm not anti warriors on any level but this is the closest anything could be to objectively funny
