How do you make the /c/community a link? - Lemmy.world

I tried doing /c/community just like in reddit but it won’t turn into a link. Is it some missing feature or am I missing something?

You need to type it with an exclamation mark in front. Lemmy will then provide you a dropdown of it's communities, and upon selection convert it into a markdown link:

!fediverse becomes [[email protected]](https://lemmy.world/c/fediverse)

which is shown as a link like this [email protected]

Fediverse - LemmyWorld

A community to talk about the Fediverse and all it’s related services using ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, KBin, etc). If you wanted to get help with moderating your own community then head over to [email protected] [/c/[email protected]] [https://lemmy.world/c/moderators]! ## Rules - Posts must be on topic. - Be respectful of others. - Cite the sources used for graphs and other statistics. - Follow the general Lemmy.world rules [https://mastodon.world/about]. Is there a way to make it so that if someone on lemmy.ml clicks the link, they go to lemmy.ml/c/[email protected] instead?
Not that I know of.

Yep! You can do this with the following format:

[/c/<community>](/c/<community>@lemmy.world)

e.g.

[/c/fediverse](/c/[email protected])

/c/fediverse

I've been seeing it used in a couple places, already, actually.
