@ourmaninjapan fascinating how they’re such different performances. I prefer Suchet’s; he seems more Shylock. Stewart seems more Stewart. What an interesting series. I know @brucelawson hangs out at the RSC from time to time, so I wonder what he thinks

@sil @brucelawson My thoughts exactly. After Stewart’s performance: Wow, so that’s how the pros do it. And then Suchet’s: 😮 Makes me want to take up acting!
