MerlinI usually don’t pay attention to mod names, however, this name wasn’t an odd one to me somehow.
Then I tried to search for the name as I remember seeing in the past that a handful of mods owned 90% of the subreddits.
Bumped into this and now I know this mod was one of them.

WarpedThey have various alt accounts, if I recall correctly. Before closing my account on Reddit, and this drama happening, I am sure she mentioned opening an account on Beehaw.
NepentheOn the one hand, it would make sense. Beehaw's style feels more authoritarian to me than other places and Turtle would be attracted to that.
Problem is, idk if they're taking on help but I don't think it's likely she'll be chosen out of the crowd if they are and I know non-admins can't make anything over there.

She'll likely try, but I bet Beehaw won't give her any power and will end up booting her out pretty quickly. She can't help but be inflammatory and they want none of that.
