IIT Roorkee and Tsilicon Design jointly bag Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India’s Rs. 4.11 Crore Grant-in-Aid project under Chips to Startup (C2S) program titled “A novel power-on pilot IC for ultra-low power wireless IoT devices.”

IIT Roorkee is the nodal institute responsible for the overall implementation of the project, and Tsilicon will contribute to the commercialization of the chip and help in the movement from lower to higher TRL.

The project aims to design, develop, fabricate, and validate a novel chip that will revolutionize the IoT application space by providing a practical solution to prolong the battery life of IoT edge devices.
