Absolutely appalling to see the submarine tourism disaster get five times, 10 times, 100 times more coverage than the recent massive loss of life through alleged callousness by Greece…and the 1,000s of other people who have died trying to flee tyranny and starvation. I’m sorry for the people who lost their lives on the sub; it absolutely demonstrates the luridness and capitalism porn even sober media loves.
@glennf Yes, agreed! However, don’t discount the ghoulish thrill of watching a slow, creeping story that could end in a miracle (Chilean miners) or the expected tragedy.
