This is just one of many ways that Citizen's United has changed the way our country and even the world functions. Capitalism was already driving corps towards an unquenchable greed in the name of the shareholder. But now that they've been given personhood and money is a form of free speech, the toxicity of their motivations has become brazenly clear.
