Brands that are BIFL TODAY! - sh.itjust.works

Alot of brands today that were known for quality and durability are now outsourcing to countries with cheaper manufacturing. It seems to be the natural path when the economy takes a downturn. It’s an easier route to go then making the price higher and not improving the product. What brands/items are still ok today to get before the quality drops?

Corcoran boots are still union made in the United States. I have two pairs of their original jump boots–one in black and one in brown–that I wear daily, even with a suit.

They’re not the absolute best footwear out there, but they’re resolable and cost less than $250. I take care of mine, so I have every expectation that they’ll last the rest of my life.

I do the opposite of taking care of mine, and they're still going strong after 20ish years. Corcoran boots are damn near indestructible. They've only been semi-retired because I've moved other boots that are nearly as tough, but much more comfortable. Specifically Red Wings for normal wear, and Ariat cowboy boots for actual work.
