my #PlanForToday:
* Still working from home and have much to prep for another job interview tomorrow. Will be a gruelling afternoon and I needs ready both good answers to complex interview questions, practical material, more besides I've probably not thought of and travel arrangements.
* Our garden is still being worked-on, so no audio recording or anything quiet-needing. also frequent stops to make the builders tea, I suspect.
* Cameron Norrie is second up on centre court at Queen's this afternoon, so that should hopefully dovetail with a late lunch. He's also last-on for the Doubles!
* I will probably also keep an eye on the match following his. Rune got off to a slow start yesterday but pulled it back well. Nice to see how he does.
* Tonight I will hopefully get another episode of #DeepSpaceNine in with @Ace_3000. We have nearly finished season 3 and are, I think, both very much enjoying the experience. I watched the show on Sky with my grandfather decades ago.
So the tennis was really good, and I've not even seen the doubles match yet!
not so nice about the layer of dirt and mud all over the flore of my hall and kitchen, but when you're moving 8 tons of stone and topsoil about and walking through compacted stone that's been rained on, I guess there are inevitable consequences.
No heavy lifting today, the gravel boards are all in. They were heavy!
Slightly terrified for tomorrow's interview, but all I can do is go in with a positive attitude and a smile. Either I'm what they want or I'm not, no amount of dithering or worry can change that.
@cachondo I've never understood Tennis, but I've always wanted to. Good luck with the interview.
@SapphireRose91 I understand it much more now I actually get to play VI Tennis, it's a great workout. I can't fully appreciate the visual spectacle of course, but I still very much enjoy watching it. You can keep up quite well by ear, the ball contact is very distinctive!
@cachondo Poor you I hated job interviews. I wish you luck though.
