Tomorrow - 21st June - is #ShowYourStripes day!

We encourage everyone to share their 'warming stripes' - simple visuals that represent observed changes in temperature - and start a climate conversation with friends, family, colleagues or anyone else!

These graphics can be used in many different ways to start those climate conversations and we would love to see examples of everyone using them.

You can download the warming stripes for your country, region or even city.

Show Your Stripes

Visualising how the climate has changed for every country across the globe

I don't see the value in reminding myself about horrible things I can't do anything about.

I already

* don't plan to have children
* don't eat meat
* drive a small vehicle
* vowed to switch to an EV when it becomes possible for me

@beforewisdom Remind others.

Everyone already knows, wishes something could be done, doesn't care, or will always deny that it is happening.

Stressing people out without offering practical things to do doesn't accomplish anything except sell more big pharma for anxiety or depression.

@beforewisdom I grew up in a family of climate deniers. Hearing about it from others is what opened my eyes.

I'm sorry it stresses you out. Maybe you should add a content filter. But that doesn't mean it does no good for the rest of us to talk about it. And once we are properly motivated, we are far more likely to find practical things to do, as you already have.
