Would be great to have other mobile apps fill the gap, so that the devs can focus more heavily on the main site instead of Jerboa.

FWIW, I highly doubt the devs are focused on anything but the Lenny API right now. In fact, I also doubt they’ve slept in a month.

For sure, even so, it'll be good to have a really solid mobile app option that doesn't take any of their focus in the future.
