I figure I’ll do something like this every so often. What has been a category you created that really became useful to you or provided unexpected value?

Probably the “giving” category. It‘s the category where I realize the most that a budget isn’t restraining and instead enables you to spend money how you actually want to. “Giving” is something that I find important and without having that category there, I’d really struggle to do it.
