This is the Siemens EQ900.

This baby runs #curl.

@bagder Did you get a free sample for future troubleshooting?
@jimmysjolund The delivery of my unit must have gotten lost, none has arrived here!
@bagder @jimmysjolund So if someone doesn't get enough milk in his coffee they'll send you an email?
@bagder I’m not sure that’s the most user friendly interface to run curl but why not ?
@bagder super old curl version or anything half-way up-to-date?
@shochdoerfer in a machine someone just bought, the copyright year ranges end with "-2018", so... yeah, fairly old.
@bagder somehow I have expected that ;(
@bagder Now, why a coffee machine needs a HTTP client?
@bortzmeyer *everything* needs internet transfers (judging by current trends). Get new images/data/recipes, send emails/notifications/logs etc. Who knows.
@bagder As long as it still makes coffee when the Internet is down...
@bortzmeyer @bagder To download Doom shareware version (over FTP) :)
@bagder Much more important though: Does it also understand HTCPCP? 🙈
@bagder thanks for Diablo IV btw! Found you in the credits

@bagder I've got an EQ.9 s400, a slightly older model, I should check the open source / license notices in the manual!

(In my Siemens/Bosch dishwasher's it smells like full of FreeRTOS stuff.)

@bagder gente a siemens faz se tudo, faz até café mesmo hahaha.

@bagder Nice, but why does a coffee machine need a network connection?

@bagder We actually have one of those (not exact same model but similar), and it's amazing. It has a bunch of different coffee "recipies" selectable through the worst touch screen ever animated in 4fps, and then you can give it wifi access to connect to a coffeeWorld account and download like... one additional coffee recipe.

The coffee is pretty good though.
