@WearsHats @LadyDragonfly once the digestive tract joins up, we essentially have the same topology as a ring donut. Also you can’t have a 2d person as their digestive tract would split them in half. I learned this in Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time. Also, essentially, the surfaces of your digestive tract are the outside of your body, topographically speaking.
