I was there for 15 years and three-quarters of a million tweets. On Twitter’s best day, it was never as interesting or stimulating as the Fediverse has been for me on some of its worst days. Twitter was mostly noise and mayhem occasionally interrupted by interesting moments. Here, it’s almost the complete reverse of that.
@shoq I can’t say that at all. Especially Black Twitter. Big events felt like being in a living room with people from all over the world and reacting together. I had some incredible moments that I’ve yet to encounter here
@damon Sure, those were the interesting moments I spoke of. Sounds like you had a lot more of them than I did, tho. Be that as it may, few loved Twitter more than I did. But mostly for the potential it never delivered.

Leaving Twitter after 15 years and finding the Fediverse feels like stepping into a whole new world of fascinating conversations and genuine connections. 😘

The noise and mayhem of Twitter couldn't compare to the thought-provoking discussions and meaningful interactions I've experienced here. It's a refreshing change where every day brings a new depth of engagement.

Embracing the reverse has truly been an invigorating journey. #FediverseWins
