@qwertzalotl Mir scheint inzwischen die Sonne aus dem Allerwertesten. 😀 Das meine ich nicht nur in Bezug aufs "Online-Leben" wie z.B. Fediverse, zu beantwortenden (oder erwarteten) E-Mails usw. Nix muss "gleich und sofort"!
Jetzt, wo ich das gerade lese, fällt mir ein, dass ich beim Arzt noch nen Rezept vorbestellen muss. Und das erinnert mich daran, dass ich seit fast ner Woche keine Mails abgerufen hab. Anfangs mag es schwer sein, mittlerweile hab ich mein Umfeld halbwegs dran gewöhnt.
Ich selbst bin auch mal drei Tage oder so gar nicht am Rechner. Oder hab "wichtigeres zu tun", Freunde, Gesundheitskram oder, oder, oder... was den Post hier angeht: Man bedenke evtl. Zeitverschiebung, Menschen müssen auch mal schlafen und... haben evtl. auch noch fiese Arbeitszeiten.
Ich bin da eher gechillt... 😉
Bin ich normalerweise auch. Hier treffen aber gerade ein paar echt nervige Dinge zusammen. Jetzt werde ich, lange aufgeschoben, Windows 11 von meinem Rechner schmeißen und eh möglichweise ein paar Tage offline sein. Mal sehen...

[2/2] People have asked me to 'preblock' this project but I am not gonna. Meta is not Gab so we give them a chance and can always block them later with 2 simple button clicks.. We would never ever sell out on you but rather invest time to make this all go smooth without everything come crashing down I hope this clears up some mis-understandings

@vantablack And how exactly this preemptive blocking is supposed to help? In my opinion it is likely to have the opposite effect.
Suppose Meta launches something which won't be a failure right from the start. Some people come (and with marketing effort there could be quite a lot including some interesting personalities) and they will be isolated from substantial chunk of Fedi. It won't be good for either and the "free part" will likely be marginalized like it happened with the darknet.
I'd rather let Meta do the blocking, I am sure there won't be any shortage of that.
