Might be a Mendes related thing, that no other clubs wanted to pay what he and wolves wanted. He also went to wolves in the championship when he first went there even though he was obviously better than that.

I think people will be surprised how much more frequently this will start happening. The truth of the matter is that the Saudis have enough money to turn their league into the worlds best, or at the very least comparable to the best leagues in Europe.
Not that I would want that to happen, but it is a possibility that shouldn't be so easily dismissed.
As a Wolves supporter, it sucks to lose a player that has meant so much to the team. But that's a better fee than we were gonna get elsewhere and the team needs it.
