dhorkIPV4 are the standard 192.168.0.1 ip addresses you may be used to. That numbering scheme supports over 4 billion addresses, which is not enough.
IPV6 uses longer addresses, like 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334 . Which is not nearly as convenient, but allows for 340 trillion trillion trillion addresses, which might be enough, possilby.
More than enough for an IP for every star and planet in the Milky Way Galaxy!
Surely every planet will want more than 1 IP address? Else they'll have to NAT again.
