Fellow Oregonians please be aware of the massive DMV hack that was disclosed a few days ago. If you have an Oregon ID card or driver's license, assume it may be used for identity theft:

Because of the wonders of capitalism, you have to deal with three corporations to freeze your credit info -- which is one way you can mitigate your risk. Took me about 15 minutes (but I suspect I'll have to end up unsubscribing from bullshit emails from each of them).
