Libertarianism is the simple idea that each individual has rights and that no other individual or group may violate those rights. It assumes that liberty and autonomy of the individual, are premised on the natural equality of all people before the law.

Every person has freedom to do all that they will, provided they do not infringe on the equal freedom of another.
