Reddit's CEO is now comparing the people who've done the most to make the site popular to "landed gentry" -- demonstrating that he's both over-the-top arrogant and ignorant.

He's also threatening to change the rules of the site to make it easier to remove moderators. Yes, that'll definitely encourage more people to build communities there.

If anyone should be removed, it's him.

Steve Huffman, the Reddit CEO, said in an interview that a user protest on the site this week does not have wide support and is led by a minority of moderators.

@dangillmor If he wants users to be able to vote people out, maybe he should let users vote on Dictator Huffman, who is absolutely not responsive to what the users or the admins want.
