any time i'm reminded software notarization is a thing i get so angry. and don't bother responding it's "for security", because they'll notarize any old shit, it's just anti democratic middle man money grubbing

@eniko They definitely don't make it easy. Over the last couple of days they sent out the reminder "now that your process has been stable for a while, here's a reminder that we're changing the tools you use for notarization and you need to update them."

@eniko @maltzen same and for this very reason. I'm sorry but the dozen sales I get from Mac users doesn't even cover a year's worth of cert. The rotten Apple must fall.

@Sciencetastic @eniko Is that a dozen on the Mac app store or a dozen combined with other platforms? Because a dozen on the Mac app store seems high from my experience.

@maltzen @eniko No steam. Everything I try to port to mobile I get 95% there and then run into some bug that delays release for 2 years and I give up. One of the reasons I switched to visionaire studio was so my switch and mobile support is guaranteed. With great training wheels, comes great compatibility. IE my own code won't have a chance to fuck things up.
