THAT is why I bought my 832x624 (1024x768 but the Q700 didn't support that) four years later for $700.
Rabid Early Adopters are great for up-front cash flow. Another symptom of Apple 1.0 syndrome.

I bought that Q700 at the same time as the monitor I mentioned, February 1993. The C650 had just come out, and Q700s were on clearance. I had to think long & hard about which of the C650 or Q700 I wanted. I went with the Q700 because of tried-and-true syndrome. It served me well for 6 years. (And NFW was I getting the Q800, way too much!)
