US blocks $735 million in arms sales to Hungary in response to Budapest blocking Sweden's NATO entry -

The initiator of the ban was US Senator James Risch, the ranking Republican in the Committee on International Relations.

Risch told reporters that Hungary must admit Sweden to NATO if it wants to receive the arms package, which includes 24 batteries of HIMARS missile launchers, as well as more than 100 missiles, related spare parts and support.
