Completely misses the point that the moderators rely on these third party tools to moderate for free and that reddit will turn into a cesspool of spam without them.
The core issue is disrespecting the unpaid labor they rely on. A lot of people don't seem to understand this
Awful takes on the issue. They did not go out of there way to even show the protestors side. No mention of the astronomical pricing of the API or that the main Reddit app is subpar compared to the third-party apps.
Yeah, they don't have a clue whats about. Just say "it's a good thing they want to make a profit from AI language models"
