anyone able to help me spin up an #kbin instance? usually able to figure this stuff out, but I'm kinda lost and stumped here with the current docs but want to support the #fediverse !

I had some issues as well over the weekend and haven't gotten back to it. You are correct the documentation is not the best currently. I tried to setup a lemmy instance last month but ran into issues with getting the fediverse working correctly.

mastodon has managed hosting providers, i use @mastohost for mine.

I Kinda hope some pop up for kbin and lemmy in the long run. but I could get by manually once the docs are complete. but ernest must be swamped atm, kbin apparently only started like a month ago publicly, what great and totally not stressful timing for them. xD

@Dentora Was able to get mastodon running in docker , been doing good so far for the last month.

Didn’t realize that kbin was that young, definitely great timing for them. I do like the look and feel more of kbin currently.

@siskourso from what I've heard on kbin. They have been slowly working on it for 2 years, but only publicly released it a month or so ago.
