The fact is, as good as #Kbin is, it’s not as mature yet as Lemmy.

The people who make Lemmy might be problematic. However, Lemmy (the software) makes the world less worse by federating. And a world that is less worse is better than simply being worse.

@atomicpoet @avantgeared @mmasnick Yah. I mean if people on the internet really wanna go after commie software devs, they should definitely look at TikTok. Actual tankies with real tanks that mow down pro-democracy demonstrators. Not some guy who codes in Rust.

There are technical reasons to prefer Lemmy over kbin ... for now. Sure PHP 8 is fast (kbin), but it's still PHP. If I'm going to work on a FOSS project, I prefer to work in Rust.
