Mastodon desperately needs a "boost but add content warnings" feature.
(Also, y'all could start properly CWing your content. Just saying.)

@sphinx That's the one reasoning I do look forward to the quote boosting, so you can attach such content warning to the quote boost. Granted though, I don't think Misskey let you content warn a quote renote until @supakaity added the functionality for blahaj's 'key fork of Calckey. No idea either though about Akkoma.

So if Mastodon allows content warnings on quote boosts, that'll be great.. and is a way to do so. But if Website Boy has done the same as what was the case with Misskey and Akkoma unless I've missed seeing that in effect.. and hasn't got content warning functionality on quote boosts, then that's just damn right awful and takes away most of the good reasoning for quote boosting to even exist.

@jase @sphinx @supakaity main think I use it for is to avoid repeating myself or to cite myself. I rarely quote other people.

I’ll try making a test quote-post with a CW from Akkoma to see how it works…
